In Albany’s last home game, Jordan Robertson was a last-minute signing. On Friday night, the 6’3″ 185-pound point guard from Colgate led the Patroons with 23 points en route to Albany’s 109-92 win over the San Diego Waves. The win kept Albany (3-0) undefeated in the TBL, while San Diego falls to 2-2 in the season.
Robertson earned his 23 points on 8-for-10 scoring from the floor, including a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line and a pair of clutch three-pointers in the fourth quarter.
Albany was also led in scoring by Darius Paul, whose 22 points included three three-pointers. Edwin Ubiles (15), Lloyd Johnson (11) and Steven Cunningham also scored in double figures for the Patroons.
San Dieo was led in scoring by Gregoryshon “Slim” Magee, who had 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the floor, along with a perfect 8-for-8 from the line.
Albany led San Diego in scoring with a 58% to 41% shooting average; the Patroons went 43-73 from the floor, as opposed to San Diego shooting 31 for 74 in field goals. Albany also out-rebounded the Waves 44-34.
