(JAMESTOWN, N.Y.) – Despite a 38-point night from Lloyd Johnson, in which he hit six of ten shots from beyond 3-point range, the Albany Patroons fell to the Jamestown Jackals 116-99. It was the Patroons’ fifth loss in six games, falling to 8-5 on the season. The Jackals are now 6-9.
Johnson, who last year had a 53-point game for the Patroons, earned his 38 points on 14-23 shooting from the floor; he was also 4-5 from the free throw line Steven Cunningham (16), Jordan Robertson (13) and Rashaan Freeman (11) also scored in double figures for the Patroons.
The Jackals were led in scoring by DeAngelo Stewart with 25 points; while Glenroy Carr Jr. added 21.
