(ALBANY, N.Y.) With both teams fighting for a postseason berth in the TBL, it was the Jamestown Jackals who prevailed in a double-overtime battle, 151-143 over the Albany Patroons at the Washington Avenue Armory.

The Patroons were led in scoring by Shadell Millinghaus – the point guard, who joined the Patroons after the demise of the TBL’s New York Court Kings, scored 38 points in 50 minutes of play. Anthony Moe had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while Steven Cunningham and Joshua Cameron scored 23 and 22 points, respectively.

The Jackals were led in scoring by Corey Wilford, whose 41 points, including going 8-for-15 from 3-point range – with three of those three-pointers in the first overtime, keeping Jamestown in the match.

Both teams will face each other Sunday at the Washington Avenue Armory, with a 3:00 p.m. start. Albany and Jamestown are fighting for a playoff berth, with Albany holding a 15-11 record (including a forfeit win over the San Diego Waves), while Jamestown improves to 13-12. They and the Raleigh Firebirds, who currently have a 15-11 record, are in the mix for a an available playoff spot.
