The Patroons made it 5-0 on the season, including their second win over the Jamestown Jackals, with a 97-86 win at the Washington Avenue Armory. The Patroons and Jackals will meet each other at the Armory on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
The victory helps keep the Patroons on pace with the Kansas City Tornadoes as the only two unbeaten teams in the TBL. Jamestown falls to 2-6 on the year.
Five Patroons scored in double figures, including 19 points from Darius Paul (including three rim-rocking dunks), a 20-point, 8 rebound 8 assist night from Lloyd Johnson, 18 points from Edwin Ubiles, 15 points from Stephen Cunningham – including three hits from 3-point range – and a 12-point, 8 rebound evening from Alonzo Murphy.
For the Jackals, James Helton and DaVonte Stewart led the western New York squad with 21 and 20 points, respectively. Daniel Mulamba led the Jackals in rebounds, with 12.
