ALBANY PATROONS FORCE DECIDING GAME 3 WITH 131-112 VICTORY OVER RALEIGH IN PLAYOFFS
(ALBANY) Joshua Cameron hit a team-high 34 points – including seven 3-pointers, six of which came in the second half – as the Albany Patroons evened their TBL playoff series with the Raleigh Firebirds, taking a 131-112 victory in front of a large crowd at the Washington Avenue Armory.
In addition to Cameron’s heroics, Albany’s Darius Paul came off the bench to tally 19 points, including four straight 3-pointers made. Anthony Moe charged through with 28 points, while Jordan Robertson’s 9 points included a clutch slam dunk in the fourth quarter. Shadell Millinghaus provided Albany with his third triple-double of the 2019 season – and first of the playoffs – with a 23 point, 13 rebound, 12 assist night.
For the Firebirds, Kaden Lebray was the top scorer with 23 points, while jaimee Jackson put 20 points on the scoreboard. Jamaal McCoy came off the bench to score 19, while Demontez Loman (18) and Brock Young (16) also scored in double figures for Raleigh.
Both teams will face each other on Wednesday night, April 24, at the Washington Avenue Armory, with tip-off at 7:00 p.m. The winner of that game will face the Yakima Sun Kings for the TBL championship; as Yakima defeated the Mesquite Desert Dogs in two straight playoff contests.
