The Albany Patroons completed their five-game road trip with a 129-100 loss at the hands of their longtime rivals, the Yakima Sun Kings, at the Yakima SunDome.  

Five Patroons scored in double figures, including leading scorer Darius Paul (31 pts, 7 rebounds) and Steven Cunningham (20 pts, 6 rebounds), while Alonzo Murphy had a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Edwin Ubiles finished the night with 18 points, 5 rebounds and four assists.  New game-time signee Dae’Shawn Patterson almost had a double-double as well, with 12 points and 8 boards.

The Sun Kings were led in scoring by Jackson Trapp with 28 points.

Yakima garnered a better average from the floor, hitting 48 of 87 shots (55%) to Albany’s 15-for-91 night (38%).

The Patroons return to the Washington Avenue Armory on Friday night to take on the New York Court Kings.  Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m.
