Patroons travel to Indiana for game 1 in Kokomo, return to Albany for games 2 and 3 (if necessary)
(Albany, NY – June 21, 2022) – The Albany Patroons, TBL’s East Conference Champions, head to Kokomo, Indiana this week for Thursday’s game 1 of the TBL Regional Finals (best of 3 series) against the Kokomo Bobcats. Tip-off is at 7pm – Patroons fans can watch the game live at TBLTV.tv/patroons.
“We are excited for the opportunity to compete against a well-coached and talented Kokomo team. Says head coach Will Brown. They may be the best defensive team that we have prepared for this season. We need to be focused and ready to go for this Thursday’s game 1 on the road.”
Games 2 & 3 (game 3 if necessary) are scheduled at the Washington Avenue Armory. Game 2 is confirmed for this Sunday, June 26th with a 5pm tip off. If a game 3 is needed, tip-off will be Monday June 27th at 7pm, at the Armory. The winner of this TBL Regional Final will play either the Shreveport Louisiana Mavericks or the Southern California Moguls for the TBL Championship.
The Patroons ended the regular season with the best overall record across all 44 TBL teams (22-3). After winning the TBL East Division series (2-1) against the Atlantic City Gambits, the Patroons went on to sweep the Huntsville Alabama Hurricanes at the Armory in 2 games to win the East Conference Championship.
